Deep, hypnotic madness from Dema, coming soon on Exploris Records. The opening track could be straight up tech-house if it wasn’t for the wonky arpeggio signature that throws everything out of joint and will bring a slightly sinister smile to the faces of many a gnarling head-banger on the dancefloor. 2nd track, Universal, is scary, invigorating 6am warehouse techno, which may trigger serious flashbacks in veteran ravers who’ll remember gurning to tunes like this in the dim and distant past. The closer, No More Time, brings a bit of house relief but still takes no prisoners, its syncopated bass grooves buried in heavy sub, alongside pulsing 4/4. Hard as nails this one.
